Have your own piece of a Manor house and enjoy relaxing in this beautiful position, approached via a little lane passing fields, on the way you come upon Stickworth Hall. A grand circular driveway sits at the front as a drop off point and plenty of parking is available.
The apartment itself has a security entry phone system so you can choose who you let in. Up the stairs and into the flat you immediately see how much sun streams through, views are there for you to admire from many aspects overlooking the huge grounds and surrounding countryside. No arguments over bathrooms as there is an en-suite and family bathroom, ideal if it is a holiday home or let and this could also suite two people living independently. The lounge is a really good size as is the kitchen. Pass the time with a gentle stroll around the grounds, which include a huge lily pond. Picnic on the lawns or put your easel up and paint some of the scenery or the building itself, it looks lovely from whatever angle you look at it from. Arreton has a local convenience store and post office and is perfectly located central and within striking distance of the whole of the Isle of Wight. The village also has the White Lion public house and the Dairyman's Daughter restaurant/tourist attraction. The current owner has had this apartment fully let for the last three years. An excellent investment and offered chain free.ÂPlease refer to the footnote regarding the services and appliances.
What the Owner says:We looked at various properties on the Island but when we came to Stickworth Hall we were very impressed by the location, beautiful grounds, ease of parking, the impressive manor house and the convenience of being able to travel to both Sandown and Newport by public transport, which is accessible within a three minute walk to main road. So a car is not always necessary. Since we bought it we have installed a new boiler, completely re-decorated the whole flat, re-carpeted, installed a new shower, wash basin and w/c, replaced windows; which are now double glazed, installed new radiators and refitted a new AEG stove.
