James joined Brown & Co in 2019 after graduating from the Royal Agricultural University with a BSc (Hons) degree in Agricultural Management. During his time at the RAU, James focused his studies on rural business, agricultural technology and sustainable farming.
James has a comprehensive understanding of profitable farming with on-farm experience. He is involved with Contract Farming Agreements, Basic Payment Scheme Applications, Countryside Stewardship Agreements, Budgeting and Business Appraisals. James is also a council member for the British Institute of Agricultural Consultants.
James enjoys shooting in his spare time and competed for the Royal Agricultural University shooting team.
