Martin Page

Martin is responsible for all planning services and has more than 30 years experience in the field of town planning gained in both the public and private sector. In 1975 he joined Hertfordshire County Council who sponsored him in gaining a Diploma in Environmental Planning. In 1987 he became a certified Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI). During his 13 years in the public sector he gained experience in development control aspects in North Hertfordshire and Huntingdonshire, where he held the position of Area Development Control Officer.

Martin and his team undertake a wide range of work from providing development appraisals, preparing, submitting and managing planning applications, Certificates of Lawful Development, appeals and development plan representations. The role also involves attending Planning Committees, Hearings, Inquiries and Examinations in Public and acting as an expert witness on behalf of clients.

On the social front, Martin enjoys the odd round of golf and is a keen biker who particularly relishes the adrenalin rush which comes from haring around the narrow lanes of the Isle of Man on his annual trip to the TT races!
