Rob joined the Brigg rural team in 2009 and now heads up the renewable energy services for Brown&Co as well as core agricultural business advice covering Environmental Stewardship and Basic Payment Scheme.
Rob has experience and knowledge of renewable technologies including wind, solar PV, biomass and energy crops. Rob is involved with the management of UK energy crops for Drax Power Ltd owner and operator of Drax power station.
From an established East Yorkshire arable family farm, Rob has a BSc Hons Geography degree from Durham University as well as MSc in Rural Estate Management from the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester. He has also completed the “Challenge of Rural Leadership” course run by the Worshipful Company of Farmers.
Together with several years practical farming experience, Rob enjoys all aspects of country life and lives in East Yorkshire.
