Huw Bridges

Property Manager, Tenby office

Huw grew up in Tenby before joining Lloyds Bank and working at various locations throughout South Wales, however knowing how magic and beautiful Tenby and Pembrokeshire are, he chose to keep Tenby as the home for his family and they remained based here whilst he travelled around for work. Huw’s father was the town’s Rector before moving to Brecon as Bishop of Swansea and Brecon, before also retiring back to Tenby. Huw left Lloyds Bank in 1994 after working for them for nearly 25 years and joined Birt & Co initially as part of the Sales team before taking on the role of the Property Manager in 2018, a role which he enjoys and with the help of the other members of his team Sally Hinman and Jamie Silvester the department has grown considerably in the last six years. Married with three grown up children, he has thrown himself into being part of Tenby and the activities that it provides. Huw has completed two Ironman Wales Triathlons and also completed one in Barcelona; he is also an ex-Chairman of Tenby Football Club. He now enjoys Tenby’s relaxed pace of life, the warm welcome it offers to visitors and newcomers, and its beautiful coastline, he would advise anyone thinking of moving to Tenby to immerse themselves into the local community and what it can offer, from triathlons, sea swimming, coast path walking, golf, bowls, or things such as arts and crafts amongst a few or even just joining the local pub quizzes.
