Somersby is a village in the East Lindsey District of Lincolnshire. It is within a short distance to the Market Towns of Horncastle, Spilsby and Louth by car and their mix of amenities including retail, leisure and commercial facilities.

The village is located in the Lincolnshire Wolds which is designated an "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty".

Alfred, Lord Tennyson, Poet Laureate was born and brought up in Somersby and many topics in his poems are based on the area including "Babbling Brook". The house and gardens have views extending across the valley to the babbling brook.

Somersby Grange is a Grade I Listed Manor house built in 1722 for Robert Burton the local Lord of the Manor. It is built in red brick to a rectangular plan over two storeys and has an additional basement, the property has four square corner towers. Additional two storey accommodation has been added to the East Side.

The property is built in the style of Sir John Vanbrugh but was probably designed by Robert Alfray.
