Barbican, Bryer Court

An exceptionally bright, large style Barbican studio, set away from the road, the main studio room is light and bright with full-width, full-height windows and a westerly aspect catching the evening sunshine. The original Brooke Marine kitchen is in place along with the bathroom.

Bryer Court is the only block on the estate which is made up of studios, named after W. Bryer and Sons, gold and silver refiners, based in the local area, the block was completed in 1972.


The Barbican Estate, Grade II listed in 2001, is the crowning achievement of the architects Chamberlin, Powell & Bon. Residents have access to the estate's gardens as well as parking and storage cages (by separate negotiation).
