David Barford

David Barford established the firm of D H Barford + Co, Chartered Surveyors and Development Consultants, in St Neots in 1974 and continues to be involved with the Brown&Co Barfords business as a Consultant working mainly on longer term development sites and strategic land opportunities.

David’s more recent projects include major residential and commercial developments in Huntingdon, St Ives and St Neots Town Centres. He is also driving forward the current 1250 dwelling development at Loves Farm, St Neots, and a 1,000 dwelling scheme at Cardington, Bedford.

David was elected a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1981, remains active and continues to provide support to the firm and its Directors. He now spends an increasing amount of time enjoying his holiday home in the New Forest and remains a keen jogger and cyclist.
