Edward Blundy

Ed is an Equity Partner of the Firm and has been based at the King’s Lynn office in Norfolk for over 12 years.

Ed leads Brown & Co’s Energy team and sits on the Management Board as Head of ICT.

Day-to-day, Ed’s professional role currently encompasses three principal specialisms:

i. Renewable Electricity developments including solar, battery storage and wind, with emerging technologies such as EV charging stations, Hydrogen and synthetic fuels starting to gain traction. Ed’s work also covers the provision of Expert advice in respect of valuation, disputes and the sale & purchase of renewables assets;

ii. Large scale portfolio valuations including significant International work across Central and Eastern Europe and Australia;

iii. Agri-Finance as an Appointed Agent & Valuer for the Agricultural Mortgage Corporation (AMC), covering Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire, amongst others.

In addition, Ed and the Land Agency team at King’s Lynn deal with the traditional work of the Rural Practice Chartered Surveyor and Agricultural Valuer, including the buying, selling and letting of agricultural property, compensation claims, stocktaking valuations, rural planning, utilities and telecoms work and general Estate Management.

When time allows, Ed enjoys golf, squash and playing his old dilapidated piano. He is married to a South Lincolnshire farmer and has two children.
