Duncan Challis

Started his career in estate agency in Harrogate, North Yorkshire whilst following a four year degree course in Urban Land Economics at Sheffield Hallam University. After graduation, he went on to qualify as a Chartered Surveyor in 1990. Work with two major London-based property companies followed before he established a new vehicle in 1996, successfully developing a portfolio of predominantly leisure and residential property. He sold out in 2008, and shortly after joined his wife Helen, building Quay Holidays and Quay Living in Poole. The family live in Poole Old Town. Duncan was a founding trustee of local neighbourhood planning forum, Poole Quays Forum, and was actively involved in the establishment of Poole and Lower Hamworthy’s first Neighbourhood Plan.
