About Addlestone

Addlestone is a town in the borough Runnymede and county of Surrey. Historically Addlestone was part of Chertsey, its adjoining town, but today it is a thriving town in its own right offering homes to families, couples and first-time buyers alike.

Unlike its neighbours Weybridge and St. George's Hill, Addlestone offers more affordable accommodation whilst retaining an excellent choice of local amenities and local transport links. Excitingly, Addlestone high street is currently undergoing a multi-million pound redevelopment which has so far seen the creation of a new gym, cinema and hotel. Construction on new build apartments is underway and a new shopping centre is also being developed.

There are many things to do in and around Addlestone. You will find many open park spaces for you to relax and enjoy your free time in. Addlestone high street is also well equipped to suit your day-to-day shopping needs. There is a large Tesco and several locally owned businesses and restaurants for you to eat and drink in. Addlestone is in close proximity to Staines-upon-Thames where the Elmsleigh Shopping Centre will cater to all of your additional retail needs.

For those who travel by road, Addlestone has easy access to both the M25 and A3. Both of these roads can take you into London or down to the South Coast. There are also several local bus routes which run through Addlestone and will take to you Woking, Weybridge, Kingston and Staines-upon-Thames.

Addlestone has its own train station, which operates on the Chertsey branch line. From Addlestone you can catch connecting trains to Weybridge, Byfleet and New Haw and West Byfleet. From Weybridge train station it will take you approximately 40 minutes to reach London Waterloo.
