Edward Bagnall

Partner, Fine Art office

Edward graduated from The Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester and qualified in 1992. Throughout his career he has worked exclusively in Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds. For about 20 years he managed an office for a ‘national’ firm of estate agents in Tetbury and more latterly in Stow-on-the-Wold. He therefore has an in depth knowledge of how these firms operate and their strengths and weaknesses. In 2009 Edward and Charles Arkell reestablished the well known, highly respected and long established firm, Tayler and Fletcher, which had recently become absorbed by Humberts. They were therefore able to restore the firm’s independence and continue its multi disciplined divisions for the benefit of all those with an interest in property. Edward is a Fellow of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) as well as a RICS Registered Valuer. Edward is a highly experienced estate agent and has sold many notable properties during his career. He specialises in selling and valuing residential and rural property throughout the Cotswolds and has a wide and varied experience in a range of property matters and excels in unravelling even the most complex of problems. He also undertakes professional valuation and expert witness work and has a reputation for paying attention to detail and batting hard on the side of his clients. He is a clear thinker as well as a skilful negotiator and communicator. Edward is also an experienced Property and Chattels Auctioneer, which adds an extra dimension to his estate agency repertoire. More recently Edward was awarded the RICS Expert Witness Certificate and also gained accreditation as a RICS Evaluative Mediator. Edward lives in the Coln Valley. His hobbies include the Country sports of fishing and shooting as well as premiership rugby and various forms of cricket.
