Cudlow House is one of Rustington's most notable Grade II listed homes, steeped in history dating back hundreds of years. From tunnels believed to have been used by smugglers to famous past residents, including J.M. Barrie, author of the beloved childhood story of Peter Pan. A series of pictures taken in Cudlow's grounds from 1906 served as the basis for a bronze statue of the character in London's Kensington Gardens. The original house has been divided into three dwellings, with 1 Cudlow House forming the principal home, maintaining the character and aura of its history.
