Directions: From Tavistock take the A386 towards Okehampton. After approximately five miles, turn right just before the Mary Tavy Inn. Follow the lane to the bottom of the hill and then around to the left and up the hill. Turn right by the Primary School where signposted for Horndon. The Elephants Nest will be found on the right hand side after a mile or so.
