CALLINGTON is a pretty former agricultural market town which is located between Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor.  The site is located within the hamlet of Bowling Green which is north of the town.  Callington has a population of just short of 5,000 people and was recorded in the Domesday Book in 1086. In the 19th century, Callington was one of the most important mining areas in Great Britain due to the large deposits of silver, the food industry is now the largest employer with Ginsters and Tamar Foods based in the town. 

DIRECTIONS  From the Helmores office make your way to the A30 via Tedburn St Mary. Follow the A30 to the junction with the A386, take this road all the way to Tavistock. In Tavistock take the A390 to Callington. Just on the outskirts of Callington turn right onto Florence Road, after you pass the golf course which is on the right take the next left on to Florence Hill.   One of the site accesses is a gateway three hundred meters down the hill on the left.
