Fernworthy Close, Copplestone

3 bedroom property for sale

Guide price £225,000

End of cul-de-sac, extended 3 (or 4) bedroom semi-detached family home (master ensuite) with gardens and parking in this popular village

Fernworthy Close is a small cul-de-sac off the main Fernworthy Park development, central in the popular Mid-Devon village of Copplestone. It is within an easy walk of the primary school, shop and bus/train services to Crediton, Exeter and Barnstaple.

The house has been extended with a two storey extension to the side by the current owner. This adds a second reception room (or ground floor bedroom) to the ground floor and above is a double bedroom complete with dressing room and ensuite. In addition to this bedroom are two further double rooms and a wet room. There is mains gas to the house fueling the central heating (new boiler fitted in March 2019) and uPVC double glazing throughout.

Outside there is an open outlook to the front being at the head of the cul-de-sac and the lawned garden sets it back nicely. A driveway provides plenty of parking and further could be created if desired. There is a side pedestrian access to a paved and lawned rear garden with fencing and side gate (secure) plus a summer house.

Please see the floorplan for room sizes.

DIRECTIONS :
Entering Copplestone from Crediton, take the right turn at the stone cross (before the traffic lights) and then immediately right again into Bewsley Hill. Take the next right into Fernworthy Park and then second left into Fernworthy Close. No 7 will be found on the left at the end.

COPPLESTONE is a 5-minute drive west of Crediton on the A377, a main route into the City of Exeter. A stone’s throw to the southwest is Dartmoor National Park, renowned for its invigorating walks and sublime scenery. Previously a traditional farming hamlet, Copplestone has grown over the years, and now offers a fantastic selection of new-build, fully modern homes. This, coupled with its own primary school and locality to Queen Elizabeth’s Community College in Crediton, makes it perfect for families moving to Devon. The village has a strong camaraderie between residents, with a local church holding many events. There is a 3m carved granite cross, found in the village centre of Saxon origin and steeped in mythology. There is also a shop/post office for convenience, and regular transport links (bus and train) towards Exeter, North Devon and Okehampton.
