Guide price £175,000

A fantastic 2 double bedroomed end-terraced house with side garden with the possibility to extend, garage plus parking space and amazing views.

A modern built end terraced house in an enviable position, sitting towards the top of the village with stunning views over the church and rooftops to countryside and Dartmoor in the far distance. Being on the end, there is a larger garden area to the side and the possibility of extending to the side, subject to permissions.

The house has been a lovely home and most recently a very good rental property so would suit a range of buyers. The windows are uPVC wood effect and double glazed plus there is oil fired central heating. The layout is what would be expected and works well with the kitchen across the front (as you approach the house) and living/dining opening out onto the south facing patio at the back. On the first floor are two double bedrooms and a bathroom.

Outside, the front is paved with bin store and access to the side garden (approx. 15m x 5.3m) which is graveled for ease of maintenance and around to a paved seating area taking in the best views. The is also a garage (4.76m x 2.42m) and parking space in front. The garage is the end one on the right.

Directions

From Crediton, proceed into the village of Copplestone on the A377 and go through the traffic lights bearing right towards Barnstaple staying on the A377. After a couple of miles, turn left as signed to Winkleigh at Morchard Road onto the B3220. Continue for approx. 1.6 miles and take a left turn as signed to Zeal Monachorum. Enter the village and Churchill Gardens will be found on the right before passing the church and No.6 is at the end on the right.

Zeal Monachorum is situated 8 miles northwest of Crediton, hidden within vast and tumultuous farmlands. Its name is of Latin origin ‘Cella Monachorum’– meaning ‘Cell of the Monks’. Like many Devon villages Zeal is home to a number of period properties, and buildings that have a strict conservation status – preserving the traditional beauty expected from rural settlements. Its church is old (understatement) (1235, late Saxon) and in its yard is a yew tree rumoured to have experienced a 1000 birthdays or more (not that anyone celebrates). The village is also known for having the most family friendly inn around, ‘The Waie Inn’ – offering great food & drink, both outdoor and indoor children’s play areas, a heated swimming pool, skittle alley, large function rooms (for weddings, parties etc), an astro turf pitch, squash courts, fishing lake and B&B rooms
