4 bedroom property for sale

Offers over £260,000

No Chain & rural views! This surprisingly large link-detached dormer bungalow takes up a corner plot with gardens to front, rear & side, plus a garage & driveway, with four bedrooms and two bath/shower rooms distributed over the two floors.

This family sized link-detached dormer bungalow takes up a corner plot with lovely elevated rural views and is just a short walk to the village amenities and numerous country walks.

The accommodation extends to 113sqm / 1215sqft and includes four bedrooms (two on each floor), a ground floor bathroom and a first floor shower room, so suitable for single storey living or as a family home. A number of rooms have had brand new carpet fitted in 2020 and most rooms have been decorated too. The lounge diner is a great size and dual-aspect, the kitchen has an integrated dishwasher and the whole property has oil-fired central heating and is double glazed.

Outside: The driveway (9.5m) leads to the garage which has light & power, the front garden is lawned (12m x 5.7m) & sets it back from the cul-de-sac nicely, this could be fenced in or used for further parking (subject to permissions). LAPFORD is a large village, beyond Morchard Road on the A377 – 9 miles from Crediton and 16 miles from the City of Exeter. Like most Devon parishes, it’s not far from a lovely collection of trees – Eggesford Forest is just up the way, a regal coniferous plantation that plays host to variety of creatures including adders, butterflies, buzzards and woodpeckers (and badgers!). The village itself has a primary school with an excellent Ofsted report, sizeable playing fields (with a football pitch and kid-friendly playground) and a busy pub – The Old Malt Scoop Inn, once a 16th Century coaching inn – which now offers an à la carte dining experience, using only the best local produce.

DIRECTIONSFrom Crediton take the A377 road for 7 miles and turn right at Lapford Cross Garage and proceed up into the village of Lapford taking the first right turning past the Old Malt Scoop Inn. Proceed up this hill and Park Meadow Close is the 2nd turning on the left. No. 2 is the first property on your left.
