Hut 97 is a most unusual modern hut that is above average in size and is constructed in a 'side on' position to the Harbour and Beach area. Wooden ladders that drop down, give access to the loft space which is used as a sleeping area. Inside the hut a trap door in the floor gives access via steps down to an enclosed storage cellar.
